OUR STORY
Mountain of Power & Prophetic Assembly was founded by Rev. Faith Afolayan way back in the year 2000. Before then, we use to hold a monthly prayer meeting themed Covenant Prayer Night with a production of Covenant Prayer Bulletin.
After been fully released from my father in faith at Victory Life Mission International church, Rev. Simon Akinremi. We started in a primary school called Dattos Nursery and Primary in 1998.
The church moved on to another rented shop located at No. 55 Liasu Road in year 2000. And on 24th April 2000, the church was officially inaugurated as The Living Power of God Ministries. However, upon the registration of the church with Cooperate Affairs Commission (CAC) that the name changed to Mountain of Power & Prophetic Assembly (MPPA)

With God's favour, the church finally moved to her permanent site at No. 12, Wasiu Agoro Street, Off Adebimpe Avenue, Idimu, Lagos in 2014. We started here on an empty land.

Our second convention, all to the glory of God in the following year was still in the small church but now covered, walled and floored. Theme was from "Glory to Glory".
God's presence was still in the house and by 3rd year on our permanent site, we had the big sanctuary built but without roof. The 3rd year convention was held this place under a rented canopies. It was a fantastic experience that year as we celebrated God's faithfulness with the theme "Greater Glory". Subsequently, work is still on going, but, thus far, God's Presence has taken pre eminence. The story and vision continues ...
